Saturday, May 20, 2006. Staber & Chasnoff. Dick Staber (vocal, mandolin) and Judith Chasnoff (vocal, guitar) have been performing their unique brand of folk and bluegrass based acoustic music and delighting audiences far and wide since 1993. The four seasoned musicians that make up the band bring superlative chops and a contemporary flair to the bluegrass classics, new music, and original tunes that make up their repertoire.

Saturday, February 11, 2006. Zip City. Zip City is one of the most exciting acts in the North Country,. Their presentation of classic blues and up-temp swing features the strong vocals and powerful solos that are indicative of the Chicago style. What's most surprising is the band's ability to trade instruments and charge into country swing standards without missing a beat. They will have the Grange Hall rocking!

Sunday, December 11, 2005. Roy Hurd. Roy is one of the North Country's most beloved and talented performers. he is an exceptional singer and songwriter and a captivating storyteller, in part because his work is filled with humor and wit, a love of the land, and his infectious gentle spirit. This concert will be part of the Grange's annual Silent Auction and Bake Sale which benefits our Building Fund. There will be many great items and bargains. Come for the music, camaraderie, auction items, and good food.

Saturday, November 5, 2005. Celia Evens & Friends. The clear voice and compelling lyrics of folk singer/songwriter Celia Evens "manage to find the tenderness in relationships, family, and the natural world." Here, she is joined by friends who add depth and complexity to her music be adding harmonies and other acoustic instrumentation.

Saturday, October 22, 2005. Russ Bailey & Steve Feinbloom. The duo of Russ Bailey on guitar and vocals and Steve Feinbloom on upright bass have been entertaining enthusiastic audiences for years. Russ' percussive fingerstyle guitar and powerful vocals combined with Steve's solid slap bass playing make for a very unique blues sound. Their repertoire includes original songs and cover tunes by some of the early blues artists from the 20s, 30s, and 40s.

Our fall music series is made possible, in part, by CAP funding from the Arts Council for the Northern Adirondacks and a generous donation from the Stewart's Corporation. The winter series was made possible, in part, through a Decentralization Grant from the Council of the Arts for Clinton County.

We appreciate donations for our music and dance series. Thank you Moontree Designs for your generous donation toward the fall 2005 series.
